Abstract
Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) can involve arteries throughout the body, especially in the lower extremities. Endovascular treatment (EVT) is one of the most common techniques for PAD, mainly including drug-eluting stent (DES) and drug-coated balloon (DCB). Compared with traditional techniques, DES and DCB have higher patency rate and lower restenosis rate in treatment of PAD. However, relevant studies and long-term follow-up Results remained limited up till now, and the selection of DES and DCB still need to be more discussed. The advancements of DES and DCB in treating femoropopliteal arterial were reviewed in this article.
