N2 - When DC current flows through the windings, the exciting current of the transformer will be distorted, the temperature and vibration amplitude of the core and component in transformer will increase. The basic concept, cause and harm of DC magnetic bias are introduced in this article. The effects of DC magnetic biasing to transformer are summarized in three aspects:exciting current,temperature rise and loss,vibration and noise. From perspectives of models and research methods, the developments and results of DC magnetic bias studied by scholars both at home and abroad are demonstrated, and the research methods of experiments and simulations for each aspect were discoursed. The shortcomings of study progress on DC magnetic bias influences are discussed, and possible development directions are proposed.
