Abstract
The monitoring and control system is the core part of an energy storage power station. It carries out the functions of information collection, information processing, monitoring, control and operation management of the battery, battery management system, power conversion system and distribution equipment. The architecture of the monitoring and control system directly affects the supporting effect of the energy storage power station on the power grid. First, it summarizes the technical characteristics of the three mainstream energy storage monitoring system architectures. Then, a comprehensive comparative analysis is made from the aspects of hierarchical structure, application functions, performance indicators, number of devices, information exchange, convenient operation and maintenance, etc. Considering the problems existing in energy storage monitoring, a coordinated control solution for energy storage power station is proposed. The key technologies involved are analyzed, including the switching mechanism of the main and standby coordinators, information modeling, primary frequency modulation and dynamic reactive power regulation. Finally, a test environment of energy storage coordination control is built in the laboratory, and the feasibility of this technical scheme is verified by experiment.
