Abstract
The current and voltage waveform characteristics of wires electrical exploding in gas environment are summrized, and the evolution image and plasma parameters in the process of electric explosion are analyzed. The formation mechanism of nanoparticles is discussed, and the methods in the preparation of alloy nanoparticles and metal compound nanoparticles by wire electric explosion are summarized. The research progress of the mass production device for nano-powder is introduced. Finally, the research challenges and future development are pointed out. It is necessary to develop a high-throughput experimental database of electrical exploding wires, strengthen the research on the physical and chemical mechanisms of alloy nanoparticles, and further optimize the parameters of the mass production equipment.
