Abstract
With the development of smart grid technology, power grid infrastructures are increasingly and heavily coupled with communication networks. The power system relies on the communication system to monitor and control a large number of connected devices, which improves the system's observability and controllability to meet the needs of advanced power system applications. On the other hand, communication network devices require power supplies from the electrical grid. Under extreme events, the cyber-physical interdependence becomes vulnerable, which brings challenges to establishment of a resilient power system. The way to effectively utilize flexible resources in the cyber-physical power system is a key issue for power system resilience enhancement. Existing research was summarized on power system resilience enhancement and the communication technology, the influence of the cyber-physical interdependence was analyzed on the resilience of the power system, and these works were categorized according to methodologies. Then, the resilience enhancement method with interdependencies between power and communication networks and the key technology in the communication field were described. Finally, the limitations of the existing works were identified and the prospects were presented for future potential research in this area.
