Abstract
Premixed flame surface area is an important parameter in a closed combustion chamber.However,it is rather difficult to be measured.In this paper,a mathematical expression for pressure and premixed flame surface area in closed combustion chamber is obtained through mathe matical deduction.The expression is verified by numerical simulation.The results show that pressure growth rate is positively related to flame surface area.The quantitative analysis of experimental results found that premixed flame surface area increases sharply due to the effect of flame-turbulence interaction.Flame area and flame area growth rate increase with the increase of blockage ratio.
