Abstract
The switch and control of motion for sub-dies during local loading forming process are the key to low-energy consumption and high-efficiency local loading forming process. The working principle of valve-controlled hydraulic system of multi-pass local loading forming process was illuminated, which can realize the motion switch and the function switch between deformation and constraint for sub-die. A motion control system of multi-pass local loading forming prototype was designed based on position control. A prototype with 10 t forming load and 2 t constraint load for double-action local loading forming was constructed, and then the control software with a nice human-machine interface was developed based on CODESYS and C++ software environment. Two passes local loading forming experiment was carried out. The experimental results indicate that the developed hardware platform and software system meet the expected design requirements, and provide a basis for successive research on the design and development of control system for large tonnage local loading forming equipment.
