Abstract

The variation of renewable energy power output and loads often exhibit spatio-temporal asymmetry. Designing a reasonable market mechanism to promote source-load interaction is an important direction for the development of electricity market. On the basis of analyzing the existing load adjustment characteristics and operation characteristics of power resources, the necessity of establishing interactive market based on weekly-trading framework is discussed, and a source-load interactive market mechanism based on a weekly-trading framework is proposed. The mechanism divides the day-ahead electric power energy market into the weekly time-scale electric power energy market and the day-ahead electric power energy regulating market for clearing in two phases. The mechanism promotes source-load interaction by announcing electricity price signals in advance, introducing demand side bidding, adopting call auction in the trading declaration stage, and designing reasonable connection and information transmission between various electricity markets. Furthermore, the trading cycle, trading submission form, trading modes, and pricing mechanisms of the weekly time-scale electric power energy market and the day-ahead electric power energy regulating market are designed in detail. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed mechanisms is verified through case analysis.
