Abstract

As the scale of the power grid continues to increase, short-circuit current exceeding the standard has become a major problem in operation. A comprehensive equivalent sensitivity method for limiting short-circuit current of power grid is proposed, ľhe method is divided into two sub-problems; limiting short-circuit current and electrical safety check. In limiting short-circuit current sub-problem, unified short-circuit current limiting measure simulation method is proposed to simulate line breaking, generator breaking, line out of string, line installation series impedance, replace high impedance transformer, bus splitting, etc. Furthermore, using the branch impedance addition method, the node impedance parameters after the implementation of the above measures and the short-circuit current comprehensive equivalent sensitivity of the component breaking are calculated. In the electrical safety check sub-problem, the power flow and stability are checked after short-circuit current measure is applied to ensure the effectiveness of short-circuit current limiting measure, ľhe practical examples of Qinghai power grid verify the effectiveness of the proposed method and can provide reference for the planning and operation of Qinghai power grid.
