Abstract
In the present study, the phase field model was used to study the triple phase immiscible fluids flow in porous media and the relative permeability curve of the triple phase immiscible fluids was obtained. Effects of the wettability, the viscosity ratio and the capillary number on the relative permeability were studied by simulation. The simulation results show that the wettability has little effect on the relative permeability. The relative permeability of the nonwetting phase increases as the viscosity ratio increases, whereas that of the neutral phase and the wetting phase decreases with increasing viscosity ratio. The relative permeability of the nonwetting phase decreases with increasing capillary number, while that of the wetting phase increases with increasing capillary number and that of the neutral phase does not change monotonically with capillary number.
