Abstract
More and more hazardous wastes are produced in the industrial production with the rapid development of China's industry, so it is exceptionally essential to treat them efficiently and environmentally friendly. Hazardous waste incineration has become one of the key alternatives for the treatment of hazardous wastes because of its advantages of volume reduction, weight reduction, high degree of harmlessness and recovery of energy contained in the waste. A waste heat boiler is one of main components of hazardous waste incineration system, thus the application and classification of waste heat boilers were summarized based on the development of hazardous waste incineration system. The researches on the numerical simulation and optimization of waste heat boiler, the cooking and high-temperature corrosion of waste heat boiler, and the dioxin control technology in waste heat boiler were introduced. The application of steam air preheating technology, development of combined heat transfer cycle and the waste heat recovery of cascade utilization technology were further presented. It provides a reference for theoretical research, engineering practice, and system integration operation of waste heat boilers in hazardous waste incineration systems.
