Abstract

With the development of“photovoltaics, energy storage, direct current and flexibility”technology, safety risks brought by low voltage DC system residual current gradually become prominent, and residual current detection technology has been paid more attention. In this paper,at first the progress of residual current fault simulation in low voltage DC system is summarized, and the typical shock accidents of low voltage DC system and the net circulating cur⁃ rent of multi⁃terminal power supply system are simulated and analyzed, and the guiding principle of the residual cur⁃ rent detection and protection device is given. Then the advantages and disadvantages of several kinds of residual cur⁃ rent detection methods are compared, and the detection methods and algorithms suitable for low voltage DC system re⁃ sidual current are studied. Furthermore, based on the relevant standards, the residual current testing platform is built, and the performance of the residual current testing prototype of a domestic manufacturer is tested. Finally, the research progress and development prospect of low voltage DC system residual current detection technology are summarized.
