Abstract
Aiming at improving the ability of hybrid distribution transformer (HDT), and solving voltage sags/swells and frequency variations that exist in power distribution system, this paper built the mathematical model of HDT in dq0 coordinates and a controller mathematical model based on Kalman filter and multi-variable regulation H∞ closed loop theory, then formulated its transfer function. Then a new HDT topology based on H∞ FF/FB controller was established and its mechanism was analyzed. Proposed type of HDT enables not only compensate voltage when sags/swell happens in power system, but also helps realize zero steady-error, better robustness and frequency variations of load side, which makes HDT could give better performance on the improvement of power quality. Finally the effectiveness of the proposed controller was verified on Matlab/Simulink platform.
